Surguja, Jan 17 (PTI) A woman was allegedly raped by four men in Chhattisgarh's Surguja district, police said on Tuesday.
Two men were arrested after the incident which occurred on Monday night while two others are on the run, an official said.

The victim is in her 20s.
The incident occurred after the woman and her male companion reached Ambikapur town from Anuppur district of the neighbouring Madhya Pradesh in search of a job as labourers, he said.

The four men promised the duo help to provide an e-rickshaw. They took them to an isolated place, where they raped the woman and also threatened her against disclosing the incident, the official said.
After the accused allowed the woman and her male companion to go, the duo reached Kotwali police station and lodged a First Information Report (FIR), the official added.
