Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 3 (ANI): The Kandivali unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Crime Branch on Wednesday arrested two drug peddlers from the Borivali area and recovered 2.96 kg of hashish from them.
According to the Anti Narcotics Cell, the value of the recovered drugs is worth Rs 1 crore 18 lakh in the international market.
According to the information received from the Crime Branch, the drugs recovered were brought to Mumbai from Nepal. Police also said that these drugs are of high quality.
The police registered a case under the NDPS Act and arrested the drug peddlers. The police further stated that they were trying to find the person who was supposed to receive supplies from the drug peddlers.
