New Delhi [India], October 26 (ANI): Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is set to address the second Indian Air Force Commanders' Conference of 2023 in the national capital on Thursday, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

Deliberations on national security challenges and ways to enhance India's overall air power will be discussed at the conference, the Ministry added.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty at Tawang War Memorial in Arunachal Pradesh and appreciated the soldiers for shouldering the responsibility of guarding the borders.

He also performed Shashtra Puja at Tawang, held special prayers, and will be celebrating Vijayadashami with soldiers.

Rajnath Singh appreciated the efforts of the soldiers in securing the borders of the country in sub-minus temperatures at an altitude of 15000 feet above sea level.

He asserted that there is no option but to bolster the country's security apparatus, underlining that all efforts are being made by the Government to strengthen the nation's military prowess through indigenous production of defence equipment.
