Kupwara (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Nov 2 (ANI): One terrorist was killed in an ongoing encounter with the security forces in Handwara area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on Thursday night.

The exchange of fire is underway between the security forces and terrorists. More details are currently awaited.

Earlier on Thursday, two terrorists were gunned down by the security forces during an encounter in Zagoo Arizal area of Budgam district.

The terrorists were killed after a joint search operation was launched by security forces based on credible inputs about their presence in the area. (ANI)
