Ernakulam (Kerala) [India], Sept 13 (ANI): A portion of the over 600-year-old Kadavumbhagam synagogue in Kochi's Mattancherry collapsed on Tuesday after it was damaged due to rain.The structure had been in a dilapidated condition for the past few years."It is a historical monument and cannot withstand the monsoon. Government of Kerala and Archeological department has allotted 94.5 Lakh to retain the building. Without history, no country can survive," Alias Joseph, member of the synagogue said. (ANI)
