New Delhi, Apr 14 (PTI) Maheshwari Chauhan was the best-placed Indian at 21st in the women's skeet event of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup for Shotgun in Ain, UAE, on Sunday.
Maheshwari shot 114 in the qualification to be at 21st position while teammates Rashmmi Rathore (109) and Ganemat Shekhon (108) finished 45th and 48th respectively.
In the men's skeet, Angad Vir Singh Bajwa shot 47 out of 50 on the first day of qualification to be placed at 61st position while Mairaj Khan and Sheeraz Sheikh -- both shot scores of 45 -- to lie 76th and 85th respectively.
The day's honours, however, belonged to the American legend Kimberly Rhodes, who won the seventh World Cup gold in the last two years including both the World Cup titles this year.
