New Delhi [India], Nov 8 (ANI): A Delhi Court will on November 29 hear a plea seeking monitoring of investigation in an alleged medical college bribery case.
The petition cited the Central bureau of Investigation's (CBI) failure to timely file its reply as the reason for the supervision.
The court on October 17 had sought a reply from the CBI in the connection. The petition had also sought for a time bound investigation into the case which is being investigated by the CBI for almost a year.
Advocate Vijay Aggarwal has filed the plea on behalf of a retired judge of Orissa High Court, Judge IM Qudussi who is an accused in the alleged scam.
The petition stated that the investigation has been going on for almost a year and no report has been filed so far by the Investigating Officer before the court in terms of the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
In September 2017, the probe agency had registered an FIR against Judge Quddusi and others for their alleged involvement in the conspiracy to reverse a government order barring the medical college from admitting students because of substandard facilities and non-fulfillment of required criteria..
