Damoh (Madhya Pradesh) [India], Oct 12 (ANI): At least two children died and a woman was injured after a portion of a mine caved-in in Damoh's Dulhara village here on Thursday.

The deceased include a 14-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy.

Police said that the two children along with their grandmother were working in the mines when the incident took place.

"They were working in the mine, when a portion of the mine caved-in and the children died," the police said.

The injured has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A case has been registered in the matter and the investigation is underway. (ANI)
