Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India] Aug 13 (ANI): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has urged youth to walk the path shown by great leaders rather than observing their birth and death anniversaries.
While addressing a gathering on Sunday at the launch of a book 'Nirmalya' in Kannada, Bhagwat said "The birth and death anniversaries of great people are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Instead of that, the youth should walk on the path shown by them."
"It is like people wishing Chhatrapati Shivaji was born again but not in their families, as none loves to have martyrs," he added.
Further highlighting about the book, Bhagwat said that it teaches and inspire us to devote themselves to the society.
Written by Chandrashekar Bhandari, the book revolves around the life of the former RSS worker, Na. Krishnappa, who died in 2015. It also talks about the activism for the RSS since the beginning. (ANI)
