Mumbai, May 2: The limited Edition Indian Roadmaster Elite motorcycle is priced at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom) which comes with a 7-inch Indian Ride Command System is standard, Bluetooth audio navigation, vehicle information.

Polaris owned Indian Motorcycles has finally launched all-new 2018 Indian Roadmaster Elite motorcycle in the domestic market today. Priced at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom), the newly launched Indian Roadmaster Elite motorcycle is intended to strengthen company's touring space in the domestic market. The special variant in the Roadmaster series comes with cosmetic enhancements over the regular model. The USP of the motorcycle is that it comes with 23-karat gold leaf badge on the fuel tank along with hand painted dual tone paint requiring 30 hours to complete the job.

Dimensionally, the Indian Roadmaster Elite motorcycle is 20mm longer than the regular Roadmaster tourer with overall length of 2676mm, and seat height of 673mm. The wheelbase of the motorcycle stands at 1668mm. The motorcycle is offered in a single shade of Cobalt Candy / Black Crystal with 23K gold trim.

On the mechanical front, the newly launched Indian Roadmaster Elite motorcycle comes fitted with the same 1811cc, Thunder Stroke III engine which also does duties on the regular Roadmaster and Roadmaster Classic. The powerful motor is capable of making 150Nm of power figures @ 1500 rpm and is mated to a 6-speed transmission unit. For suspension, the special variant of Indian Roadmaster is fitted with telescopic forks at the front along with a monoshock at the rear. The deceleration duties on the motorcycle is carried out by 300mm discs upfront alongwith 300mm disc at the rear. The motorcycle gets Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard.

As far as the features and equipment are concerned, the new Indian Roadmaster Elite bike comes fitted with Hand painted dual tone candy paint, power windshield, ABS, keyless ignition, remote locking, leather seats, Tyre pressure monitoring system, Ride command system, 300W Bluetooth Audio system and much more.

Lastly, the new 2018 Indian Roadmaster Elite motorcycle will compete against Barely Davidson CVO Limited which currently attract buyers with a price tag of Rs. 49.99 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). However, the special variant of Roadmaster is priced at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom).
