The 2019 Triumph Speed Twin employs the same chassis from Thruxton R. It also borrows the 1200cc parallel-twin engine from the latter as well. The unit is capable of making 96 bhp of maximum power with peak torque of 112 Nm and it comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The deceleration duties on the motorcycle are carried out by dual 305mm discs at the front with Brembo 4-piston calipers and a 220mm disc at the back.
