Kawasaki has officially launched the 2026 Ninja 250 in Japan, introducing striking visual updates to the popular quarter-litre sportbike. The latest iteration arrives with fresh color schemes and revised graphics designed to enhance its street appeal while keeping the core identity intact.

The motorcycle retains its fully faired silhouette and aggressive styling cues from previous generations. Kawasaki Ninja 250 Specifications and Features

The Kawasaki Ninja 250 is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that generates 39 PS at 12,500 rpm and 23.5 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features an assist and slipper clutch as standard.

Equipment-wise, it includes twin LED headlamps with integrated LED position lamps, clip-on handlebars, a sculpted fuel tank, split seats, an upswept exhaust, and a semi-digital instrument console combining an analogue tachometer with a multi-function LCD display.

The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 250 is priced at 726,000 yen (approximately INR 4.37 lakh) in Japan. While the Ninja 250 is not sold in India, where Kawasaki instead offers the larger Ninja 300 at INR 3,17,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), no official launch date has been announced for the 250 model in the country.
