BMW, a popular German Luxury car maker today officially launched a new petrol variant of the BMW X3 in India. Priced at Rs. 56.90 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi), the carmaker is offering the car on the xDrive30i Luxury line and the bookings have already commenced across all the BMW dealerships in the country. The newly launched BMW X3 xDrive30i Luxury line will also be assembled at the Chennai plant likewise the diesel edition. As a reminder, the BMW X3 was officially unveiled at Auto Expo 2018 earlier this year.

Starting off with the visual appearance, the overall luxury appeal of the car is accentuated by chrome radiator grille bars, dual tone under body protection, chrome air vents, 19-inch light-alloy wheels and much more. Moving inside the cabin, the new car comes fitted with leather upholstery, contrast stitching on instrument panel with Fine-wood trim. It also comes with new generation iDrive infotainment system with touchscreen and voice controls along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Additional highlights of the car are Automatic Differential Brakes, Dynamic Traction Control and Adaptive suspension, Harmon Kardon 600 watt audio system, BMW ConnectedDrive and more.

As far as the mechanical front is concerned, the newly introduced BMW X3 xDrive 30i Luxury Line is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, BMW TwinPower Turbo petrol motor. The unit is tuned to produce max power of 250bhp with peak torque of 350 Nm and comes mated to an 8-Speed automatic Steptronic sport transmission. Coming to the performance department, the car is claimed to hit 100kmph from standstill position in just 6.3 seconds.
