New Mahindra Marazzo MPV Surpasses 10,000 Bookings Since India Launch

Mahindra’s newest offering Marazzo MPV seems to be generating a lot of interest among the buyers. According to the company, the new Mahindra Marazzo MPV has received more than 10,000 bookings in just one month of the launch. It is also expected that the demand for the MPV is expected to increase during the festive period. Priced from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Marazzo competes with Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta. As a reminder, the car was launched in the domestic market early last month. Co-designed by Mahindra Design Studio and the legendary Italian design house, Pininfarina, the MPV has been engineered in association with Mahindra North American Technical Centre and the Mahindra Research Valley, Chennai. The dimensions of the MPV stands at 4585mm, 1866mm and 1774mm in length, width and height respectively. Dimensionally, the MPV is bigger than Maruti Suzuki Eritga yet smaller than Toyota’s Innova Crysta. Mahindra TUV300 Plus SUV is Chairman Anand Mahindra's New Chariot.

As far as the powertrain options are concerned, the MPV is offered in a single engine option. It gets a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of making 120bhp of maximum power @ 3500 rpm along with 300Nm of peak torque at 1750 rpm. Transmission duties are carried out by 6-speed manual gearbox. Moreover, the company is also planning to launch the MPV with a petrol engine as well as AMT iteration, though on the later stage.
