The upcoming model is expected to arrive in the first half of September, catering to riders who prefer a simpler, more accessible adventure touring platform compared to the tech-heavy Himalayan 450.

The motorcycle bridges the gap between traditional air- and oil-cooled platforms and modern design requirements. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 is powered by an LS440 single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled engine producing 25.4 hp at 6,250 rpm and 34 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. For structure and handling, it adopts a traditional chassis layout featuring a 21-inch wire-spoke front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel setup, offering around 200 mm of suspension travel.

The design retains the classic adventure styling of the original Himalayan 411, including a more accessible seat height of approximately 800 mm.
