Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan recently took the delivery of his brand new Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPV at his residence. The Bollywood Superstar became the first celebrity in India to purchase the luxurious V-Class MPV which costs Rs 81.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Big B bought the most expensive MPV in India from Auto Hangar dealership in Mumbai. As a reminder, the V-Class MPV from Mercedez-Benz is available in two variants - Exclusive and Expression wherein the former version costs Rs 68.40 Lakh whereas the latter is priced at Rs 81.90 lakh (All Prices Ex-showroom). The German automaker launched the luxurious Multi-Purpose Vehicle - V Class in India earlier this year that gets 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. The variant with longer wheelbase is called Exclusive whereas the version with extra-long wheelbase is referred as Expression. Dimensionally, the long wheelbase V-Class measures 5140mm in length and 3200mm in wheelbase. On the other hand, the extra-long wheelbase model measures 5370mm and 3430mm in length and wheelbase respectively.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the new Mercedes-Benz comes powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine which is compliant with BS-VI norms. The unit is tuned to make 161 bhp of maximum power with peak torque of 380Nm. The MPV is capable of attaining 0 to 100 mark in just 10.9 seconds. For safety, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class gets six airbags, Active Parking Assist and Attention Assist. Mercedes-Benz's luxurious MPV is available in four shades - Mountain Crystal White Metallic, Brilliant Silver Metallic. Obsidian Black Metallic and Cavansite Blue Metallic.
