After scoring a huge hit in Fukrey Returns last year, Excel Entertainment arrives with their latest offering, 3 Storeys. An anthology of three separate tales, the movie is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner along with Priya Sreedharan, while it is directed by debutant filmmaker Arjun Mukerjee. The movie stars Sharman Joshi, Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Masumeh and Renuka Shahane, while also marking the debut of debut of Aisha Ahmed and Ankit Rathi.

We had seen the trailer a few days back, and now we have the latest song from the movie - a romantic track bas Tu Hai. The makers have got the right man to sing the track, Mr Arijit Singh, who is in fine form here. Though Bas Tu Hai doesn't offer him as much of a challenge as the Binte Dil track from Padmaavat, sometimes easy, lilting songs are equally pleasing if not more. The song is composed by Clinton Cerejo with Puneet Krishna penning the lyrics.

As for the picturisation, the song focuses on two love tracks, featuring the jodis of Sharman-Masumeh and Aisha-Ankit. However, it is the Sharman-Masumeh track that gets the major screentime, with the song showing us some moments of their love story, including a little peck on the lips, and how they meet years later.

Here's the song,

During the trailer launch, producer Ritesh Sidhwani had this to say about the movie, “This film was done much before Fukrey Returns. We were waiting for the right time to release the film. I have been getting a lot of questions about the story of this particular movie, which is very different, but I don’t know what the definition of commercial cinema is. Was Fukrey... commercial and did anyone expect it do that well? I mean no one can say that. We did a film in 2006 called Honeymoon Travels and nobody at that time thought that we were talking about packaged honeymoon and nobody thought that Kahaani (2012) would be commercial, so I feel it’s about the story and the content and I think films automatically find their own commerce, platform and people.”

3 Storeys is scheduled to release on March 9.
