Natarang

His character as Guna turns out to be one of the most loved ones played by him. His love towards the profession of acting and art turns his life upside down that has sacrificed his social and family life. Changing his well-built body to a feminine one was one of the most inspiring body transformation processes he went through.

Premachi Goshta

He plays a divorcee, but a passionate film writer in the flick. It was wonderful how he portrayed the role of a conflicted yet emotional person. His bonding with the assistant and his inhibitions while accepting it looked effortless and subtly romantic. Atul, who is known for rather serious and gritty roles, tried his hand on this romantic film which was obviously successful.

Another experiment was done by the actor that was loved by the audience. He plays the role of a sacrificing, strict, loving brother of his 'ghost' sister. It is shown how he finds it difficult to get away from that victim mindset and thrive into life whole-heartedly. His way of showing this emotional transformation was amazing.
