Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0, the sequel to 2010 blockbuster Enthiran, has finally hit the screens on Thursday (November 29, 2018). The film, where Rajinikanth reprised his roles of Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti while Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar made his Kollywood debut with this film, opened to packed houses on the first day across the globe. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the micro-blogging site to share the official box-office collection on day 6. The film raked in Rs 11.50 crore on Tuesday and currently stands with the grand total of Rs 122.50 crore at the box-office. These are only the figures of the Hindi dubbed version, while the Rajinikanth starrer has been receiving an overwhelming response nationwide.

Sharing the total box-office collections, Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, "#2Point0 sets the BO on 🔥🔥🔥... Double digits yet again on Day 6 [Tue]… The trending on weekdays is EXCELLENT... Thu 20.25 cr, Fri 18 cr, Sat 25 cr, Sun 34 cr, Mon 13.75 cr, Tue 11.50 cr. Total: ₹ 122.50 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version."

Talking about the movie, our in-house film critic Sreeju Sudhakaran wrote in his review, "In 2.0's own slang, the film has a very good firmware and a dazzling body, but loses battery rapidly and shuts off frequently. While I am in awe at the movie's ambitions and congratulate the team for nearly pulling it off, I just wish that beautiful canvas had a Mona Lisa to show off!" Watch this space for further updates.
