On the occasion of Labour Day and Maharashtra Day today, May 1, actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao indulged in contribution of labour for Koregaon Taluka in Satara District on Wednesday. The actor has been working for improving the water situation in Maharashtra through his NGO Paani Foundation and has been touring Maharashtra's villages for the same. He was recently spotted enjoying sugarcane juice with his wife Kiran Rao in Zhawadarjun, a village in Maharashtra. Aamir and Kiran have been featuring on Toofan Aalaya, a Marathi TV show that discusses the water situation in Maharashtra and also features a mix of Marathi film stars. In his latest social media post, the actor is seen digging up a piece of land, as he is working in collaboration with his NGO. The actor tweeted the same writing, "Happy Labour Day" and "Happy Maharashtra Day".

On the work front, Aamir will be next seen in the Bollywood remake of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump. The film has been titled Lal Singh Chadha and will be directed by Advait Chandan, who previously helmed Secret Superstar.
