It's raining South remakes in B-town and after the smashing success of Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh. Previously, Bollywood had experienced great box office successes with South remakes like Wanted, Siimmba, Baaghi 2 and many more. While the Haider actor is currently relishing the glory that Kabir Singh brought along for him, there are reports that he may be considered for another South remake. If recent reports are to be believed, Karan Johar has bought the rights of Nani's Jersey and is planning a movie in Bollywood on the same. Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 4: Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Film Rakes In an Impressive Rs 88.4 Crore.

Nani's Jersey released in April this year and it revolves around a cricketer who's unable to play the sport after an unfortunate incident. While his journey is beautifully portrayed in the movie, it also highlights the emotional bond he shares with his family and how they help him in his struggles. Yes, the script looks promising and Karan is planning to work with Shahid on the same. Shahid's Kabir Singh is wreaking havoc at the box office and the mania is not going to end anytime soon. The movie is minting money for the producers and we wonder if the team had assumed they'll receive such a  fantastic response for it. Though we'd love to see Sasha step into Nani's shoes, we'll wait to see which actor eventually bags this remake.
