While Akshay Kumar is busy enjoying the success of his last film “PadMan’, he is also juggling between two of his biggest projects. Apart from ‘Gold’, will also be seen in ‘Kesari’, based on battle of Saragarhi. His look of the film that also stars Parineeti Chopra has been a talking point amongst his fans. His saffron ‘pagdi’ has already become viral and has piqued the interest of the fans. Recently, Akshay shared a post with three kids on the sets who will be playing the role of Afghani children.

Akki tweeted the picture with the caption, “Innocent smiles galore on set today. Shooting with these lovely children playing Afghani kids in #Kesari based on the Battle Of Saragarhi, one of the bravest battles fought in India.” Of course, the kids looked so happy and cheerful in the arms of superstar Kumar. Talking about why Akshay chose this film, PTI quoted him saying, “I need to keep on changing. I don't want anyone to put an image on me. I have gone through that in early days of my career when only action image was associated with me. I wanted to do other things, but I couldn't do it. So, I always try to do different things (now). It is not that I will do only this kind of film. I am doing a war film called 'Kesari', it is for the first time that I am doing a war film, it is new for me. So I am very excited about it.” Helmed by Anurag Singh, Kesari is based on the battle of Saragarhi and is slated for 2019 Holi release.
