However, Akshay's next won't be a solo release as John Abraham's Batla House is slated to hit the screens on the same day (August 15, 2019). The project is based on a real-life incident where John plays a police officer named Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. His team carried out a raid at an apartment which they suspected was a hideout of terrorists. But things later took an ugly turn when the mission's aftermath wasn't as glorious as they all expected it to be. The officer was questioned for carrying a fake encounter by many political parties and it was an uphill task to make them believe his real version. Batla House Trailer: John Abraham Packs a Punch In This Gripping Drama Based on Real-Life Events.
