No leading lady is having a time as good as Alia Bhatt. Apart from enjoying the perks of a new relationship with teenage crush Ranbir Kapoor, the actress is having a great time professionally as well. Her moderately budgeted film Raazi became one of the biggest success of 2018. The new year, 2019, is lined up with exciting projects starring her including Gully Boy, Kalank, Brahmastra, Sadak 2. In 2020, she will be seen in what Karan Johar calls 'K3G of Mughal era', a film titled Takht. The Dharma Productions head honcho made the announcement about his next directorial, Takht, a few months ago. Turns out, Alia had no clue what the movie was about when she said yes to it.

In her latest interview with Hindustan Times, Alia opened up about Takht. She said, "Honestly, I don’t know what Takht is about. Karan called me one day and said, ‘I am making this film and you have to be a part of it.’ So, I said, ‘Okay, I am not even listening to the script; you know I’ve to be a part of it.’ It’s only recently when we were in Bulgaria that I said, ‘accha bata do kya kar rahi hoon main film mein.’ But I’d do this only with Karan because he is somebody whom I will blindly work with,"

She added, "So, even if I am doing something, I will drop it all to work with him. That’s how much I love and owe him."

The first poster of Alia's next film Gully Boy, with Ranveer Singh, directed by Zoya Akhtar was released today by the makers. The poster has taken the internet by storm. We cannot wait to see more of Alia Bhatt this year.
