Alia Bhatt is garnering praises all over for her performance in the Zoya Akhtar film, Gully Boy, well, if you ignore Kangana Ranaut's jibes at her, that is. The praises are not stopping anytime soon as Alia's future line up of movies looks quite amazing. There is one project, though, that everyone is happy about but not entirely sure if it was the perfect casting. We are talking about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Inshallah. The movie stars Alia alongside Salman Khan. The age gap between the two actors crosses decades. So, what is up with that? We don't know. And no one related to the project is ready to open up about it despite the furore on the internet. Alia has only now dropped a hint as to what could be expected from Inshallah.
Alia was talking to mid-day, when she was asked about the film. She said, "Bhansali is a visionary. People are too quick to judge. There is a plan in place and a reason behind the [unusual] casting,"
"I am thrilled to be working with Salman. Even I never thought this combination [working with Khan and Bhansali] is possible. It will be an intriguing journey and Salman is genuinely warm and kind. They are a magical duo together and I am blessed to be in it," she further added. Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan's Latest Cute Picture Together Has Fans Actually Rooting For Them To Get Married.
At this point let us not forget that Alia has worked together with Shah Rukh Khan in the film, Dear Zindagi, whereby the end of it, their characters develop romantic feelings for each other. Or so is implied. So, let us give it to the makers, that even if Alia and Salman are indeed romantically paired in Inshallah, it might make sense.
Before Inshallah, Alia has Kalank to look forward to. The Dharma Productions film is releasing on April 17. The actress will also be seen in Brahmastra, a fantasy action adventure, coming out at the end of this year. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as the male lead.
