On January 29, we saw two upcoming Bollywood movies reveal their first songs, and as expected, both of them are remixes of yesteryear hits. Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's Luka Chuppi features the song, "Poster Lagwa Do" from Aflatoon (starring Akshay Kumar and Urmila Matondkar). Then there is "Paisa Yeh Paisa" remix, taken from Subhash Ghai's Karz, that Total Dhamaal had as its first unveiled song. This track featured the main cast of the film, which includes Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi and Arshad Warsi. Total Dhamaal Song Paisa Ye Paisa: It's All About the Money For Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Madhuri Dixit - Watch Video.

Both the songs have their fair share of admirers and then there are others who are wondering why Bollywood is fixated with the idea of remixes. Among them is composer Amaal Mallik. He had tweeted, "With this new remake releasing I only feel like laughing at the mediocrity of sound that is being put out....", while also adding, "Original se 5 guna zyada ghatiya aur dated sound kaise bana lete ho (how can you make the remake worse than the original by 5 times?)". Luka Chuppi Song Poster Lagwa Do: Put on Your Dancing Shoes and Groove Away With Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan.

It is not exactly sure, whom he is targetting with its tweet - "Paisa Yeh Paisa" or "Poster Lagwa Do" or both. Any guess?

It is not just Amaal, even other Twitter users are annoyed with Bollywood's recent obsession with having remixes in nearly every movie. Check out the tweets below-

We also wonder in 20 years ahead of the future, what will Bollywood go on to remix, considering what we have now are mostly remixes. Will the industry then remix these remixes or take some pain-staking efforts to make some originals?
