Recently, actors Aparshakti Khurana, Rahul Bose and Ishwak Singh gave an interview with Lallantop Cinema to promote their upcoming film, Atul Sabharwal's Berlin. The movie is set to premiere on Zee5 on September 13. During the interview, the actors spoke about the second-hand treatment they have had compared to the 'bigger' stars. This is when Aparshakti Khurana, who was recently seen in the year's biggest blockbuster Stree 2, spoke about an incident that left him heartbroken during a trailer launch of a past movie he had worked in. Aparshakti said, "We all saw the film - which had turned out very well - before the trailer launch. We all liked the film, but on the day of the trailer launch, the actor told the producer three minutes before, that Aparshakti shouldn’t be on the stage. Trailer launch will happen and other actors can be called on stage, but not him." Aparshakti also added that he was in Amritsar shooting for another film, and he had flown into Mumbai, particularly for that event.
He added, "Someone from the PR team informed me that some ‘last minute changes’ are there and I will be introduced separately. I kept waiting, the entire trailer launch got over, people left."
Watch Aparshatkti Khurana Talk About The Incident:
It didn't take much time for the sleuths on the internet to try and figure out who this 'lead actor' is and which movie Aparshakti is talking about, even though the Stree 2 star refused to name the person. Particularly on Reddit, as you can see in the below post...
Any idea who is he taking about?
A few users in the replies believe the actor could be Kartik Aaryan. Aparshakti Khurana and Kartik Aaryan worked in two movies together—Laxman Utekar's Luka Chuppi and Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh, both coming out in 2019.
Did The Incident Happen During 'Luka Chuppi' Trailer Launch?
One Reddit user has even submitted 'proof' of how news articles from 2019 about Aparshakti Khurana shooting in Amritsar for a song in Remo D'Souza's Street Dancer (starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor), and on Luka Chuppi trailer launch, making the point that both happened around the same time.

Other names were also thrown in the mix who had worked with Aparshakti Khurana, who is the young brother of Ayushmann Khurrana. Like Aamir Khan (Dangal), Varun Dhawan (Street Dancer 3D), and Sidharth Malhotra (Jabariya Jodi). But no one came with any 'proof' to back the allegations against these actors.
FYI, Here's the Whole Video of Trailer Launch of 'Luka Chuppi'
While we are not sure if Aparshakti Khurana was invited for the trailer launch of Luka Chuppi, we can see in the above video how Kartik, along with Kriti Sanon, had invited a couple of their other co-stars like Pankaj Tripathi and Atul Srivastava on stage with them. Luka Chuppi trailer was launched on January 24, 2019, while the first schedule of Street Dancer 3-D was wrapped up in Punjab by January 30, 2019. So yeah, timelines certainly match here, but unless the stars come out and speak on this in the open, it is all just mere conjecture. Luka Chuppi was a romantic comedy starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. It was about a young couple in Mathura who got involved in a live-in relationship and hid it from their families. Aparshakti played Kartik Aaryan's best friend in the movie. Luka Chuppi was a hit at the box office. The movie is now most popular for the remixed version of Tony Kakkar's hit song "Coca Cola."
