Ayushmann Khurrana's latest release Article 15 will today enter the Rs 50 crore club at the Indian box office. The film, which released on June 28, has been going steady at the ticket windows despite new movies coming out every Friday. After faring well over the second weekend, Anubhav Sinha's directorial venture held up well on the second Monday as well. However, on Tuesday, Ayushmann starrer suffered at the box office due to India's semi-final match against New Zealand in the ongoing cricket world cup. Just a while back, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter and revealed the film's updated figures saying, "#Article15 nears half-century [₹ 50 cr] mark... Biz was hit by #INDvNZ cricket match [#CWC19] on [second] Tue... [Week 2] Fri 2.65 cr, Sat 4 cr, Sun 5.35 cr, Mon 2.02 cr, Tue 1.25 cr. Total: ₹ 49.48 cr. India biz."

Further, a report in Boxofficeindia.com has stated, "Article 15 was low on Tuesday due to the cricket with around 1.25 crore nett collections. The match has gone into a a second day which will mean collections finding it hard to go back to normal levels.
