Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's second outing Badla is literally unstoppable at the box office. The crime thriller is not only getting cash registers ringing in India but over the second weekend, it made money than Hollywood superhero film Captain Marvel. Yes, you heard that right. Guess director Sujoy Ghosh has once again hit the bullseye at the box office with his directorial venture. Badla, which released on March 8, has also entered the Rs 50 crore club and could soon surpass the Rs 100 mark at the domestic box office as well. Badla Box Office Collection Day 9: Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu Starrer is a HIT, Grosses Rs 57.40 Crore.

Just a while back, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter and announced the updated figures. He wrote, "#Badla is unstoppable and unshakable... Collects more than #CaptainMarvel in Weekend 2 [in fact, #Badla leads by a big margin]... Power of solid content... [Week 2] Fri 4.05 cr, Sat 6.60 cr, Sun 8.05 cr. Total: ₹ 56.70 cr. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 66.90 cr."

He also tweeted, "#Badla is trending superbly... Shatters the myth [within the industry] that film biz hits rock bottom during examinations and pre-Holi period... Despite new films taking away screens/shows, #Badla *Weekend 2* [₹ 18.70 cr] is slightly lower than *Weekend 1* [₹ 23.20 cr]."

Further, trade portal Boxofficeindia.com stated, "Badla scored very well in its second weekend as it collected over 18 crore nett. The second weekend is the third best of the year after Uri - The Surgical Strike and Total Dhamaal. The collections are better than Gully Boy which did well in the same places as Badla. Mumbai circuit has crossed 20 crore nett for Badla. It is also good in Mysore and West Bengal." Badla Box Office Collection Day 8: Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's Crime Thriller Grosses Rs 49.26 Crore.

With Big B and Pannu's jodi creating magic once again at the box office, we won't be surprised if filmmakers line up to sign these two actors together for more films in the future. Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Production, Badla also features Amrita Singh, Tony Luke, Manav Kaul, and Tanveer Ghani.
