Badla, which arrived in theatres last Friday, has found a strong holding at the Indian box office. The crime thriller starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead seems to have impressed the audience so much that it's performing better with each passing day. And it won't be long before it reaches the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office. Though the film opened to rave reviews from the critics, Badla initially witnessed low occupancy in theatres. However, once the positive word of mouth came into play, Ghosh's directorial venture took a big U-turn and ended up faring exceptionally well in the opening weekend.
