Taking to his YouTube channel on December 20, Dhuruv Rathee shared a video titled "Reality of Dhurandhar" where he slammed the Aditya Dhar directorial and criticised it for its portrayal of real-life incidents and social messaging. Following his assault on the movie, the YouTuber is being trolled massively on social media, including by his own subscribers.

After his video went viral, Dhruv Rathee took to his X(formerly Twitter) handle to share a post, writing, "Maine kaha tha na, proper MELTDOWN hoga. And it’s even worse than I expected. Television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, best known for portraying Gopi Bahu in the show Saath Nibhaana Saathiyaa, re-shared the post and wrote, " so try to avoid & ignore your shitty vidoes & tweets.
