In an interview with a leading daily, Sunil Grover has expressed how it was working with Salman Khan on the sets of Bharat. Salman played the titular role whereas Sunil was seen as his best friend. This was the first time that Sunil was sharing screen space with the superstar in a film and it has turned out to be a huge hit at the box office. Bharat is Sunil’s film to have crossed Rs. 300 crore mark at the ticket windows. When Sunil Grover was asked if he faced any extra pressure while working on Bharat he told DNA, “I had the pressure of sharing the screen space with Salman sir. So, I had to gel with the story and character. It’s a Salman Khan film. All those people coming to watch him should feel that I belong to the world that he’s created. And now, I feel the attempt was successful. Also, I completely followed director Ali Abbas Zafar’s vision. He was clear about the script. Sometimes, Salman sir would provide suggestions to improvise and he would give cues, so he also helped me with various things.”

Sunil Grover has also dropped a hint that post Bharat he has been offered projects in which his character would be dark and intense, but he hasn’t zeroed down anything yet. Well, besides comedy this is something that fans would be intrigued to watch. Let’s see what is in store for us.
