The ongoing investigation into the shooting incident at actor Tiger Shroff's Mumbai residence on October 18, 2026, has uncovered a startling plot twist: Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi was also on the radar of the perpetrators. This revelation deepens concerns over celebrity security in the city, indicating a broader targeting strategy by the criminal syndicate.

Bishnoi Gang's Wider Net: Salman Khan, Aamir Khan Also Targeted

According to the Mumbai Police, the alleged shooters had initially carried out reconnaissance at the residences of other prominent Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, before focusing on Tiger Shroff. "Salman has always been a target of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang," a police officer told Hindustan Times. The group also attempted to locate Aamir Khan's house but was unsuccessful as he had reportedly moved to South Mumbai.

The assailants then turned their attention to Emraan Hashmi, who is 47 years old, but were unable to find his address despite local inquiries. It was only after these failed attempts that they zeroed in on 36-year-old Tiger Shroff after spotting his social media reels and discovering his Sunday football routine at Pushpa Narsee ground in Juhu.

Investigation Details and Arrests

The October 18 attack saw Tiger Shroff narrowly escape gunshot injuries, though his driver and a blogger sustained bullet wounds. So far, a total of 11 individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.

Among the recent arrests are four individuals from Sonipat, Haryana: Radha Verma (21), Babita Rao (21), Kunal Jaminsingh (21), and Sumit Saroliya (19). These four were produced before the Esplanade court, and their police custody has been extended until October 28, 2026. Police confirmed that these individuals were responsible for supplying the weapons used in the attack.

Further investigation revealed that Kunal Jaminsingh was in direct contact with Anil Pandit, an alleged operative of the Bishnoi gang believed to be the mastermind behind the attack. On October 17, Jaminsingh provided a pistol to Radha Verma, who, along with Babita Rao, delivered it to alleged shooter Rehan Ansari in Dadar. Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Gun Misfired on Hotel Bed During Accused’s Pre-Attack Tests, Say Sources.
