Netflix has acquired the distribution rights to Andy Serkis' Mowgli. The movie is a darker retelling of Rudyard Kipling's book The Jungle Book. It was recently announced that Netflix has roped in Bollywood A-listers to like Kareena Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, to dub for the Hindi version of the film. Today, the first Hindi trailer of the film was released and the launch event has got to be the most epic film event ever. Maybe not more epic than Karan Johar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai reunion gig. Well, Mowgli trailer launch brought together all the Bollywood stars along with Hollywood actors Christian Bale, Rohan Chand and Frieda Pinto.

As we have already said, the event was epic. It is almost surreal to see so much of awesomeness on one single stage. All the actors standing there are stalwarts and enjoy peak popularity. Madhuri, Anil, Abhishek, Kareena, were all very excited to be a part of Mowgli and shared their reason why they agreed to do the voice role.

Not even a Bollywood producer has been able to do this.
