It hasn't happened in a long time where a Salman Khan movie has released and has not minted money. But the powerhouse actor's latest release Dabangg 3, met with a similar fate. Due to the on-going anti-CAA protests that have been going on in various parts of the country, all over movie collections were severely hit. The third movie of the Dabangg franchise that saw an all-time low collection. While Friday's collections were Rs 24.50 cr, Saturday's collections saw a very short margin of growth at Rs 24.75 cr and Sunday saw a hike in earning with Rs 31.90 cr, which brings the total collections to 81.15 cr, which is a huge leap. Dabangg 3 Box Office Collection Day 2: Salman Khan's Cop Drama Sees No Major Change in its Collection, Mints Rs 49.25 Crore So Far

He also predicted that with Christmas eve approaching and the ensuing holidays coming up, the movie might cover a lot more of lost ground, '#Dabangg3 partially regains lost ground on Day 3... Biz jumps across circuits... Loses a big chunk of *opening weekend* biz [approx ₹ 12 cr] due to protests... Day 4 [Mon] crucial... #Christmas celebrations [Tue evening onwards and Wed] should boost biz...'. Well, we all also hope to see Bhaijaan's film cross its regular box office collections.
