According to Hayat, Khan had previously made critical remarks about her appearance while praising fellow contestant Gauahar Khan's physique.  "When I was in Bigg Boss he criticised my body and face..and told Gauahar her body was good," Hayat wrote, arguing that his current defence against online body-shaming contradicts how he treated contestants in past seasons.

Salman Khan's Viral Moment on ‘Bigg Boss 20’

Hayat’s reaction followed an intense sequence during the Weekend Ka Vaar segment of Bigg Boss 20. Addressing online trolls who have targeted his weight, age, and hair, Khan removed his hat and shirt on live television, challenging commentators to inspect his physical shape closely.

During his monologue, Khan spoke against the broader culture of social media harassment, highlighting public scrutiny directed at women for postpartum weight gain and condemning intrusive paparazzi angles. He also pushed back against age-related commentary, stating, "Of course, I'm 60 years old, yaar. You cannot be Maine Pyar Kiya all the time," adding that he remains unbothered by critics due to his strong fanbase.

While Hayat called out Khan's past comments regarding body standards, she later clarified her position regarding his age.
