On the work front, Deepika will be seen in two very interesting projects. She has been away from the big screen since 2018's Padmaavat, which was a mega-blockbuster. The actress will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, which she is also co-producing. In the movie, Deepika will be seen playing the role of an acid-attack survivor. Her first look from the film stunned everyone. Deepika will also be seen sharing the screen space with her husband, Ranveer Singh, once again, in 83. In the sports biopic, Ranveer plays the role of former Indian skipper, Kapil Dev, and Deepika will be seen playing the role of Kapil's wife, Romi Bhatia.
