Currently, India is divided into two halves owing to the passed Citizen Amendment Bill. While some are favouring the CAA (Citizen Amendment Act), on the other hand, some are protesting against the same and are on the roads to raise their voices. Even many Bollywood celebs have slammed the CAA and out of them is filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap. It was this passed bill that led to Kashyap's return to social media platform (as he was off from it) and criticise the same. But the filmmaker's recent tweet has raised many eyebrows wherein he has claimed that his Twitter followers have been drastically reduced. Anurag Kashyap ‘Absolutely’ Feels Akshay Kumar Is 'Spineless' for Being Silent on Police Action Against Jamia Millia Islamia Students During CAA Protests (View Tweets).

Sharing a screenshot along with his post, Anurag wrote on the micro-blogging site, "And @TwitterIndia has drastically reduced my follower." For the unversed, Kashyap, in his earlier tweet, had slammed the ruling government, BJP for their attempt to make the scene of this entire protest look as if it is 'orchestrated violence by Congress and other opposition parties against Modi/Shah, on social media and most of the WhatsApp groups'.

We wonder what was the real reason behind the director's missing followers? Well, if the answer to this question is Anurag's out and about opinions against BJP, then we would like to add - are we really residing in a democracy? Meanwhile, Anurag had also called Akshay Kumar 'spineless' when the actor stayed mum on the ongoing anti-CAA protests. Stay tuned to LatestLY!
