Dream Girl Quick Movie Review: Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha's Film is Damn Funny

After winning a National Award for the Best Actor earlier this year, Ayushmann Khurrana returns with Dream Girl. The trailers have already told us that Dream Girl continues the actor's obsession with choosing quirky scripts and creating a legacy of his own. Nushrat Bharucha of Sonu Ke Titi Ki Sweety fame is playing the female lead. Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shaandilya and also features Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma and Annu Kapoor. "Ayushmann Khurrana plays a youngster who is stuck with playing Sita in the local Ramleela for years, thanks to his skill of sounding convincing as a female. The same skill gets him a high-paying job at a 'friendship call center'. His seductive female voice gets the center a lot of business and also improves his own living conditions. Dream Girl continues Ayushmann's dream run of being a part of complete entertainers. The first half of the film is quite hilarious, thanks the terrific cast and the funny dialogues. Ayushmann is on a roll here and so are the rest of the cast, especially Annu Kapoor and Vijay Raaz. The interval point comes with a really funny and unexpected revelation that makes things more interested in the second half. Will we have the funniest film of this decade with Dream Girl?
