What has been the most lavish birthday wish that you have ever received? Your colleagues got together and got you your favourite cake? Your parents gifted you the phone you've always wanted? Well, those are the dealings of a common man. When it's Shah Rukh Khan receiving a birthday wish, it has to be as grand as possible. And the actor did get the grandest of all wishes. Well, tallest of all, technically. The tallest building in the entire world, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, lit up in honour of Shah Rukh Khan on his 54th birthday, today. Written in bright lights on the facade of the building were the words: 'Happy Birthday to the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan'. Back on August 15, Burj Khalifa had lit up in tricolour in honour of India's Independence Day. Shah Rukh Khan Reveals Three Birthday Resolutions That You Want to See Him Follow.

Shah Rukh Khan's birthday isn't just a celebration for him. It's a celebration for his entire fandom. At midnight yesterday, Shah Rukh made an appearance from Mannat's balcony for his fans. He made another appearance later in the day. And then celebrated his birthday and cut the cake with the media at an auditorium in Mumbai. Well, for a man with a stature as tall as his, the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa would also fell short to express the fandom's love. Shah Rukh was not far too behind in thanking the people who made this extravagant birthday wish possible. Taking to Twitter, the superstar wrote, "To my brother, the awesomely cool Mr. Mohamed_Alabbar and BurjKhalifa, Emaar Dubai. Thanks for making me shine so bright. Your love and kindness is unsurpassable. Wow! This is really the Tallest I have ever been."

The actor was last seen in Aanand L Ra's Zero, which did not perform well but was a VFX masterpiece. But Shah Rukh's production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, has kept him fairly busy. The banner released Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Badla this year, which was a big hit. The banner also produced a web series, Bard Of Blood, for Netflix. The upcoming projects include a period zombie survival series, Betaal, and a movie starring Bobby Deol, titled Class of 83. Both will land on Netflix. When Shah Rukh Khan Played Himself In Priya Tendulkar’s Hit Doordarshan Show Rajani (Watch Video).
