This video's re-emergence is particularly poignant given the recent tensions. Earlier, on September 27, 2026, another video of the couple at the airport, seemingly recent, also surfaced, further highlighting their public appearances amid the controversy. Sunita Ahuja has made several public statements hinting at distress, including a remark to paparazzi that "animals were better than humans because people could betray you despite receiving love.
" She also reportedly commented on Govinda's visit with Komal, stating, "Uski buddhi bhrasht ho gayi hai" (his intellect has become clouded).
Govinda-Komal Rani Swarnkar Affair Rumours Intensify
The rumours of an alleged affair between Govinda and Komal Rani Swarnkar gained significant traction following their joint appearance at Lalbaugcha Raja on September 22, 2026. Sunita Ahuja had visited the same pandal separately just hours before. Komal Rani Swarnkar is an emerging actress being launched by Govinda as the female lead in his self-produced upcoming film, Roopa, and is also linked to another project, Duniyadari. Govinda, who has been married to Sunita since 1987, has consistently denied the romantic allegations, asserting that his relationship with Komal is strictly professional.
Breaking his silence on September 25, 2026, Govinda told ANI that his Lalbaugcha Raja visit with Komal was to pray for his film Roopa, similar to how he visited temples with co-stars like Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon in the past for good luck. He dismissed the discussions as a "strategically planned" attempt to tarnish his image and distance him from his family. Govinda’s Alleged Girlfriend Komal Rani Swarnkar Calls Sunita Ahuja ‘A Cunning Woman’.
Komal Rani Swarnkar, born in November 1969 and estimated to be 57 years old in 2026, also addressed the controversy, stating, "Nobody can be a homebreaker in already broken house." She also reportedly alleged that Sunita tried to "kill" Govinda. Sunita Ahuja reportedly withdrew a divorce petition in August 2026, which she had filed in December 2024. The ongoing saga has drawn in family members, with Kashmera Shah, wife of Govinda's nephew Krushna Abhishek, publicly supporting Sunita Ahuja on September 27, 2026.
