So we have the first trailer of Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy revealed on January 9 and Twitterati are already in praise of the promo. Of course, the biggest takeaway from the trailer was Ranveer Singh becoming one of the most versatile young superstars of Bollywood. If he rocked the show in 2018 with his OTT performances in Padmaavat and Simmba, Ranveer Singh underplays his character beautifully in Gully Boy, looking every bit the underground rapper coming from a family with limited income. Alia Bhatt also surprises us playing the possessive girlfriend, who has no qualms in whopping a girl for talking to her man. Gully Boy Trailer: From Angry Rap Battles to Family Drama, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's Film Looks Arresting - Watch Video.
