Tanushree Dutta has alleged that Nana Patekar harassed her on the sets of the film Horn Ok Please in 2008. She had talked about it in 2008 as well, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. In the wake of #MeToo movement, the incident has resurfaced. Muzammil Ibrahim, who was the lead actor in Horn OK Please, has finally given his two cents on the entire controversy. Well, there is barely anything for you to learn in what he has said, but giving him the spot anyway. Kangana Ranaut on Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar Controversy: I Appreciate Her Courage to Speak About Alleged Harassment.

"I wasn’t present on the sets that day. She was there only for the item song and we never met. It was a three-day shoot and I was required only on the last day. You can ask anyone — whether it’s the assistants or Tanushree herself. Like everyone else, I also got to know about it later that day (referring to the incident being first reported in 2008). So, it won’t be correct on my part to comment on it," Muzammil stated while talking to DNA After Hours. While Aamir Khan Stays Mum, His Rang De Basanti Co-Star Kunal Kapoor Comes Out in Support of Tanushree Dutta.

Another important person whose statement can make a lot of difference is Daisy Shah. Back in 2008, Daisy used to be assisting choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who was working on the song that Tanushree walked out of. Daisy must be one of the eyewitnesses of the entire ordeal. Let us wait and see what she has to say about the entire controversy.

Tanushree, who bid adieu to Bollywood long time back has said, “People ask me why the #MeToo movement is not happening in India. That’s because when someone speaks up, they don’t get work. I spoke up 18 years ago; look what happened,” adding, “While Nana continued to work in films, I was slut-shamed and called unprofessional. When a woman speaks up, she is given different names and pulled down.”
