The festivities are on and War is making the most of it. Since its release on October 2, the film has managed to earn Rs 128.85 crore at the box office so far. Saturday saw good jump in numbers and Sunday numbers are expected to hit through the roof. War got the biggest jump start on October 2 where it earned Rs 53.35 crore. It did see a fall in collection the next day as it was a working day but that was expected. Now, if it manages to have a Rs 160 crore opening weekend numbers, it will go past Salman Khan's Bharat which has the highest number for that period this year. The film had earned Rs 150.10 crore during Eid this year.

Experts are expecting that Sunday will be bountiful with nearly Rs 35-38 crore in its kitty.

Now it remains to be seen how the film performs post all the festivals are over. Dusshera will add another major chunk of money to its treasury. Till Diwali however, it doesn't really have too much competition
