It's official! Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 will be releasing on July 26, 2019. The film was initially going to clash with Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Considering they've had a rough history, it was kinda expected that one of them would shift the release date of their respective film. While Kangana was obviously not expected to budge, the makers of Super 30 have now pushed the release date of the film to July 26. However, neither the clash nor Kangana is the reason behind it. So why did the film actually get postponed? Well, it basically because of Vikas Bahl's name being involved in the #MeToo movement which was a rage in Bollywood a couple of months back. This is the Real Reason Why Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 Didn't Clash With Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika - Queen of Jhansi.

The Super 30 producer was accused of sexual harassment due to which the post- production work came to a standstill. Hrithik had taken a strong stance and voiced his opinion saying if Vikas was guilty then he'd not want to continue working with him. However, after the movement died a slow death, Bollywood has started accepting the accused in the industry. So, now that Vikas is back, we is yet to finish the impending post- production work on Super 30. Not just that, as per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers of Super 30 decided to shoot some additional portions that will take more time. "They are likely to shoot further, add incidents to the Anand Kumar saga that were not used earlier. Anand Kumar is not just a great mathematician. There are many sides to his personality that were not fully explored in the bio-pic. They are now looking at expanding the bandwidth of the biopic," said a source close to the producer. Anyway, now that the film has got a release date, we bet Hrithik's fans must be a tad bit disappointed as they will now have to wait longer to see their favourite superstar on the big screen.
