Vicky Kaushal's Uri - The Surgical Strike is no longer the highest grossing film of the year. Yes, Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh has toppled the military drama and become the biggest hit of the year. What's even more remarkable is the fact that Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Hindi directorial debut only took 20 days to achieve this milestone. Kabir Singh, which co-stars Kiara Advani and television actress Nikita Dutta, released on June 21 and garnered mixed reviews from the critics. Though the film has been called out by many for being misogynistic, it has been performing well at the ticket windows since day 1. And now its even heading towards the Rs 250 crore mark in India.
