There are very few moments when you get to witness the pride of being honoured and appreciated by your icon. This is what exactly happened with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi actress Kangana Ranaut at a recent event. She was invited at the Zee Talkies Awards 2019 event along with veteran actress Rekha. In a very surprising moment, the graceful 64-year-old actress said that Kangana is like her daughter. This is the Real Reason Why Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 Didn't Clash With Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika - Queen of Jhansi.

The curly haired diva was asked to honour Rekha with a special award at the ceremony. She even wore a black saree that was gifted to her by the Khubsurat actress herself. Here, showering Kangana with praises, Rekha said that if she had a daughter, she would have been like Kangana.

There is no denying that Kangy and Rekha have been always fond of each other. Their support and love for each other were always visible. There are a few people in the industry of whom Kangana is fond of and Rekha is definitely one of them.

While the actress is totally smiles and hugs for Rekha, on the other hand, she was miffed with her contemporary actresses. Speaking of Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone, she said, "Why don't I see same sort of...why is everyone like, 'Oh, oh, oh she doesn't exist?' Why is that going on? I exist. My film has crossed millions and millions of views and it is one of the most promising films of this year. So when they pretend I don't exist...nobody ever talks about my teasers or trailers."

Well, even though her peers are not much fond of her or her films, her fans surely are! She has given exceedingly well performances in the past few years. The trailer of Manikarnika too grabbed eyeballs of the fans in a positive way. With so much good vibes around the film, it will be interesting to see what the film has in the store for us. The period drama is slated to hit the screens on January 25. We won't be surprised if she makes her 'mom' Rekha proud again!
