The #MeToo wave hit the social media in the international film industries, regional film industries and Bollywood too. It has been months since the accusations on various film personalities were made by known as well as anonymous women. Some cases on while some were called off. However, what remained unanswered is whether the movement changed anything in the industry. Housefull 4 actress Kriti Sanon just revealed a major change that she observed. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, "I have always been for the movement and have been vocal about it. It takes a lot of courage to come out in the open and speak about what you’ve been through. It’s unfortunate that there’s no legal way to resolve this conclusively but at least it has instilled fear in every industry and that’s important. I am fortunate that I haven’t been through any of this, but I’ve noticed that meetings, which would earlier happen at home, are now scheduled outside to avoid coming across as shady."

Kriti will be seen in this out-and-out comedy film by Farhad Samji. She will also be seen in a cameo in Kartik Aaryan starrer Pati, Patni Aur Woh remake. She will be also seen in Rahul Dholakia's Mimi which is based on surrogacy. This will be for the first time that the screening
