Back in August, the first teaser of Laal Kaptaan was revealed and received some powerful reviews. When quizzed about his role, Saif had said in an interview, "It’s my most ambitious project till date. I don’t think I have been part of a film that has been made on this scale. It’s about a fight between two brothers and my character, who’s almost like an animal, fights for his rights." Saif Ali Khan's Laal Kaptaan Is Not Releasing On September 6 Anymore; Here's Why

Laal Kaptaan was initially titled Hunter and was scheduled to release on October 11, 2019, but along with the name change, Laal Kaptaan will hit the theatres on October 18, 2019. Laal Kaptaan will be the third big release of October after Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan's War (October 2) and Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra's The Sky Is Pink (October 11). The movie will also be clashing with Sanaya Irani's Vikram Bhatt Horror movie Ghost.
