Most of the B-town celebs got them finger inked on during Lok Sabha Elections 2019 phase 4 which took place on April 29, 2019. However, celebs who are from Delhi had to wait for their chance to vote and the day is here. Phase 6 of the elections are taking place in the National capital. Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Swara Bhasker flew down to their hometown to cast the vote, where their name was registered. The Aiyaary actor travelled from Chandigarh to Delhi with his family. After exercising his vote, he posted a selfie. He wrote, "Took a quick break and came to Delhi for this. I've done my bit, it's time you do yours! #VoteForIndia. This is the most important work that you would do today. #DelhiVoteKar." Check out his post here.

On the other hand, the Veere Di Wedding actress too shared a few snaps from her Delhi outing. She was seen standing in the queue along with her family. "I voted for #India Hope you are voting too! #Delhi #LokSabhaElections2019, she wrote on her Twitter.

Meanwhile, the elections led to controversy for Akshay Kumar over voting rights. The actor holds Canadian citizenship and hence could not vote here. However, after he was trolled mercilessly, he came out with a clarification saying him that it does not make him any less patriotic.
